Liz Benditt is a six-time cancer survivor turned entrepreneur and founder of The Balm Box. With an MBA from USC and 20+ years in corporate marketing, she builds thoughtful gifts for cancer patients, blending grit, empathy, and humor to turn hard experiences into meaningful impact. |
Howard Weiner is COO, bringing deep experience leading small to mid-sized manufacturing operations. He has managed every aspect of production—from design and development engineering to quality systems, logistics, and factory workflow—ensuring efficient, reliable operations end to end. |
Mikayla is the Operations Manager at The Balm Box, overseeing customer service, inventory, fulfillment, and part-time staff. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she supports business flow through strong communication, problem-solving, and people-focused leadership. |

Marni is the Marketing and Sales Manager at The Balm Box, where she helps drive growth through thoughtful strategy, purposeful storytelling, and meaningful partnerships. Born and raised in St. Louis, she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and supply chain from the University of Kansas, a background that uniquely connects creative vision with operational execution. |
Leo Heather is a Customer Support Coordinator who keeps customers informed, heard, and smiling. He handles emails and phone calls with heart, humor, and clarity, turning questions into solutions and challenges into moments of genuine human connection. | Maggie is the official Balm Dog and head of morale. She alerts the team when delivery trucks arrive, barks enthusiastically for attention, and diligently cleans up leftovers. Between naps on the floor, she accepts snuggles from anyone lucky enough to meet her. |
